ABSTRACT

The study of organizational flexibility in companies, as well as its dimensions, is an increasingly recurrent and relevant topic in business sustainability, whatever its size or nature, given the need to adapt to changes. The COVID19 pandemic was a filter between flexible and non-flexible companies, unable to reinvent themselves. This paper presents a study dedicated to understanding organizational flexibility by levels, using a meat products company as a case study. From there, the objective is planted: to evaluate the level of organizational flexibility as a capacity to adapt to changes in the environment. The evaluation is carried out through the contextualization and application of a methodological instrument, finding that it is viable, resulting in the assessment of flexibility at a medium level.

ABSTRACT

E-learning (electronic learning) is the process of teaching, learning and evaluation, through the internet and technology, that is, it is focused on learning methods, the expansion and connection of information, which in the use of a computer as an artifact in the learning process. The purpose of this review was to identify studies that explore e-learning technologies and their impact on the teaching and assessment process of Human Anatomy, and to assess the quality of published research. A systematic review of the literature was carried out in the databases Pudmed (Medline), Ovid (Cochrane Central), Ovid (Medline), Scopus, Web of science (clarivate) and Science Direct, including the keywords: Examination, Teaching, COVID-19 medical education, COVID-19, Medical student exams, Anatomy, Students, Medical. Research quality was assessed using the Medical Education Research Study Quality (MERSQI) instrument. In total, 202 research articles were found, and when applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, a total of 24 articles were identified;After reading the articles, four investigations were chosen that met the synthesis criteria in this review. In general, the results showed a favorable impact of e -learning technologies since it facilitated access, flexibility and learning pace for each student, it also promoted new forms of teaching and evaluation in the discipline of Human Anatomy in medical students. during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, medical education for basic science in human anatomy indicates a transition from blended face-to-face and virtual learning to a blended learning model (b-learning).

ABSTRACT

Based on a model to study the absorption capabilities, developed in tourism companies, their main attributes and manifestation in the sector are analyzed to understand how they impact their innovation activities. The study is contrasted through the responses to a group of evaluation criteria in tourism companies in times of COVID-19. This work shows, through an example, the absorption-innovation-results relationship and the forces of resistance in new learning, as well as the harmful effects of these forces. The exposed model describes the relationships, their nature and the impact of this relationship on the results of the companies studied.

ABSTRACT

COVID-19's social distance increased domestic violence (DV). In Brazil, in spite of the existence of services to denounce DV, women who do not communicate through the Brazilian-Portuguese language (Pt-Br) are, in fact, excluded as users. As a previous stage to development of a mobile application to denounce DV by women who are illiterate in Pt-Br, being them Brazilian or immigrant and including Brazilians with disabilities, a study on Brazilian mobile services to denounce DV by women who are Deaf was performed. This paper presents the study's results, requirements and shows that applications are not inclusive. The requirements triggered the need for future Participatory Design activities together with each one and all women involved, in order to guarantee that their other cultural and social specificities are addressed. These activities are part of the feminist interaction design agenda, within which the application design process will be seen. © 2020 ACM.
